Alberto, in 1995 he decided to turn his passion for fly fishing into a career and began writing and photographing as a freelance journalist for several Italian and International fly fishing magazines.
Many times he participated as “guest star” in video series on fly fishing by international productions.
From 1997 to 2001 he appeared in the TV Show “Seasons” broadcast by D+, the first European cable channel dedicated to fishing and hunting, as special guest, fly fishing expert and contributor.
In particular since 2006 he is Author and Director of the successful TV series PESCAVVENTURA for the channel “Caccia e Pesca” 235-236 on SKY satellite TV.
Alberto is fly tying “Master instructor” at the S.I.M. “Italian Fly Fishing School”, on 1996 he got involved in the Mediterranean saltwater fly fishing and fly tying project specialized on Albacore/Tuna fish.
He also teaches fly fishing and fly tying to groups or single classes, among his students also a movie star like Sylvester Stallone!
He is fly tying designer for the famous American manufacturing flies Company, RAINY’S FLIES, Inc.
Designer of fly fishing tools and gears for some International Companies.

Since 2005 Alberto has been collaborating with the satellite television channel “Caccia e Pesca” Sky 235-236 as executive producer of  “Pescavventura”, a travel/documentary series on fly fishing adventures around the world.

Since 2010 he has been working as author and editor in chief of “PescaMag”, a biweekly TV news and talk show dedicated to the world of sport and recreational fishing, with technical and scientific information, environmental reportage and current affairs.

Since 2011 he has been working as editorial consultant and supervisor of the satellite television channel “Caccia e Pesca” Sky 235-236.

He currently works as author for the new show “Lei pesca Lui cucina” (She fishes He cooks), a first-time co-production between the two Sky TV channels “Caccia e Pesca” (235-236) and “Gambero Rosso” (411). The show is a brilliant confrontation between Marica Cicoria, a professional fisher, and Max Mariola, a renowned chef, who join forces to catch and cook fresh products of the Mediterranean Sea.
